{{ .Title }}

Late last year, I wrote about going back to specialized forums, that they were invaluable resources. I meant every word, and last week we lost another one I was just starting to feel at home in, right under my nose.

forums.evga.com has entered "read-only" mode, displacing its community. EVGA mods' call to action? Move to the EVGA subreddit.

I am saddened. Others have expressed what I assumed, they will not be using the subreddit and will no longer be participating. This is an extreme blow to the community. I can only hope that enough original members stay active. I myself was in the middle of a thread discussing old hardware. I had planned on posting back with an update once a few new parts arrived. I'll try and post on the Reddit, but I imagine that interaction is over.

It's a shame. Consolidation and homogenization. The name of the late game.
